About the Tour
Bergen is a city best explored on foot and we are here to show you both the famous and the secret places. This tour is led by by licensed tour guides who are able to customise the tour to your requests.
This tour is a crash course in everything Bergen. You’ll learn about the history and importance of Bergen, plus what it’s like to live here today. The aim is to have you leaving the tour loving Bergen and full of ideas about what you can do next.
On this tour, many of the historical sites in Bergen are covered. We visit Bryggen, the Bergen Fortress, and St. Mary’s Church. We also visit places that you may not know, and you’ll leave the tour saying “I would’ve never come here! Thank you!”
Practical Information
- Tour Length: 2 hours
- Start Times: All year round 10am, 2pm, 6pm – if you want another start time, send us an email to bookings@thehiddennorth.com
- Cost: 800 NOK for Adults / 700 NOK for Kids
- Group size: Maximum 8 people
- Walking Length: 3km
- Walking Pace: You can customise the walk according to your fitness level
- Language: We do have options to do the tour in multiple languages. Please contact us ahead of time to see if it can be arranged.
- Cancellation: The tour is very rarely cancelled due to bad weather, but if you are worried about the weather you can cancel up to 24 hours the tour begins for a 100% refund. If I cancel the tour, you also get a 100% refund.
- Starting Point: We can meet you at your hotel or point of interest. Put in the name of where you want to meet when ordering the tour.
- Ending Point: The tourist office, unless you have a special request.
